Flora's Garden

We thinned out the overgrown tree cover to allow more light, removed the old and rotten timber beds and terraced the sloping ground into more useable and defined areas. Using rendered block walls, natural stone paved terraces, paths and steps – we created a series of spaces – including seating patios, a lawn area for sun-lounging, a gentle millstone water feature, screened-off shed and utility area – plus all new planting beds and planting. We also designed in a new steel staircase from the first floor to the garden, and a remote-controlled garden lighting system.

To completely redesign and reconfigure a large, dated urban garden – making separate areas for alfresco dining and morning coffee.
